- 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Boys interested in trying out for basketball, please stop by the office to sign up. The tryouts for 5th Grade Boys will be on 10/8/26 after school in the North gym and 6th Grade Boys will be on 10/9/26 after school in the North Gym. The tryouts for 7th & 8th will be on 10/6 from 5:00-7:00 in the North Gym. You must have a current physical on file BEFORE tryouts.
- Attention 6th-8th grades--The VFW is once again sponsoring the Patriot Pen essay contest for WMS students. The essay must be typed and between 300-400 words. This year's theme is "What A Veteran Taught Me About America." All essays are due October 15th. The first place winner will receive $100, second $75, and third $50. The 1st place winner will also receive the privilege of reading their essay during the Veterans Day Assembly. See your ELA teacher for more details.
- Wesclin Middle School will host a Scholastic Book Fair this week. Students can shop the fair before school between 7:45-8:00 and during their lunch recess. Purchases can be made with cash, check (made payable to Wesclin), credit card, and eWallet. All purchases are also subject to a 6.25% sales tax. - 6th, 7th and 8th WMS students, IT’S DANCE WEEK! The Back to School Dance is THIS FRIDAY, September 25th, from 7:00–8:30 PM in the North Gym! BRING A CLASSMATE! Don’t forget—3 attendance prizes will be given away! You’ve gotta be there to win!! See you Friday.
- Do you still have your fundraiser?? If so, please turn it into the office ASAP!!
- Jackson Fuehne, Cam Weh, Rylee Luessenheide, Conner Edmundson, Jace Peters and Madeline Dunning you have a Fall Fest meeting in Mrs. Dorri's room during Homeroom on Friday! Please take attendance in homeroom first!
- All 6th grade students please report to your homerooms for attendance and then your teachers will bring you down to get on the buses for the field trip. Lunches should be placed in the appropriate tote in the lobby!
