- Picture retake day is Friday, October 17th. Stop by the office if you need retake day information.
- Clinton County 4-H is having an open house on October 22nd from 4:30-6:30 at the Clinton County Extension Office in Breese. This is a great opportunity for you to see what 4-H has to offer.
- The VFW will once again sponsor the Patriot Pen contest. This is for 6th-8th graders only. The essay must be between 300-400 typed words, and the theme is "How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?" Your ELA teachers have more information. The essays are due on October 30th. The winner will read his/her essay during our Veterans Day assembly. The VFW also awards $100, $50, and $25 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place essays winners.
- 4th-8th graders: Student Council will once again sponsor a decorated pumpkin contest. There will be 4 categories: Scariest, Most Creative, Wesclin and Disney. You may enter 1 pumpkin in the contest. The pumpkin may not be carved--only painted, decorated with embellishments, etc. There will be a winner in each category. You may use your own pumpkin or by from Mrs. Timmermann/Mrs. Dorri for a $1.00. They must be the little pumpkins. All decorated pumpkins are due to Mrs. Dorri by October 22nd.
- The candy cart will be around this Friday, 10/17 for 5th-8th graders.
- Yearbook editors - our next meeting is TODAY during lunch. Photographers only need to attend if they still need to tag photos. Bring your lunch and chromebook.
- Honor Society will have their quarter 1 party committee meeting on Monday, October 20th during recess in Mrs. Luis' room. Committee members are listed outside of Mrs. Lauderdale's, Mrs. Emig's, and Mrs. Luis' room, or you can check Google Class.
