HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Kennett Spalding & Lilyan Stahlman!
CONGRATULATIONS to the math team on their performance at the ICTM State Competition at Illinois State University on Saturday!
Notable finishes included:
The PreCalculus Team of Ben Brown, Lucas Flanagan, Skylar Gabel, Damien Geiler, Ray Pfeffer, and Kennett Spalding finished 12th out of 38 schools.
John Baird finished 26th out of the 159 freshmen competing in Algebra I.
Thank you to all of the students who participated in the math competitions this year!

GIRLS BASKETBALL - There will be a meeting Today, April 23rd, in Mr. Crawford’s room (205) during advisory. Please check in with your advisory teacher before attending.
WESCLIN FFA - is hosting their Spring Plant Sale on April 25th and May 2nd from 8-12pm. See Ms. Hemker about pricing and plants available.
STUDENT COUNCIL - is sponsoring a car show during Field Day on Friday, May 8th. The categories this year are Best Engine Rev, Best Stereo, Cleanest Car, and Best of Show. The entry fee is $2 per category. You can sign-up for as many categories as you want. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. See Mrs. Kunz or the office for an entry form and rules. Your entry form and money need to be turned in to Mrs. Kunz by Monday, May 4th.
SENIORS - Sign up for the senior breakfast in the guidance office for Friday, May 15th at 9:15am. Come and enjoy a nice breakfast before graduation practice!
FOOTBALL - Anyone interested in being a football manager for the 2026 football season, please stop by the athletic training room and talk to Taylor or email her at rosecranst@wesclin.org.

FIRST RESPONDER FUN FEST & OPEN HOUSE - Kaskaskia College is hosting a First Responder & Fun Fest on May 20th from 6-8pm at the Vandalia Education Center. This event is free and offers a unique, hands-on opportunity for students to explore the world of emergency services. Students can tour KC's EMT/Paramedicine facilities, meet instructors and learn about EMS careers and educational pathways. FLYER
