Congratulations to the math team on a strong finish in the last competition of the year in the Southwest Math Conference. Earning individual awards were:
Freshmen: Gage Rakers 5th
Sophomores: Alex Reinhardt 4th, Emily Cassie 7th
Juniors: Caitie Roberts 4th, Jorja Wernle 6th
Seniors: Lily Stahlman 3rd, Landon Beltran-Rivas 4th, Damien Geiler 6th
For the overall 2025 SWIC competition, the math team finished 2nd in division 2A. Great job team!
GIRLS BOWLING - Girls Bowling practice will start on Monday, November 17th at New Baden Bowl. If you need a ride, you may take the BLUE bus.
RAFFLE TICKETS - Student Council will be selling raffle tickets to raise money for Thanksgiving food baskets for local families. Tickets will be sold during lunch for $1.00 each from November 4th though the 12th. Two tickets will be drawn. The lucky winners will get to throw a pie in a teacher’s face at an assembly on Thursday, November 13th during advisory.
BAND MATTRESS FUNDRAISER - The Wesclin Band is having their annual Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, December 6th. For more information click the link
MEDICAL FIELD - Students interested in pursuing a degree in the medical field are encouraged to attend Medical Explorers Night on Tuesday, November 18th, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland at 6pm. Stop by the guidance office for the free application.
