Have a great summer!  See you in August!

Classroom Cleanout:

On Wednesday, May 28, we will be cleaning out the students’ areas in the classrooms and in their lockers.  Students may want to bring along extra bags to carry their materials home.  Also, please discuss with your child which materials and supplies they are expected to bring home.  If the supplies are no longer needed, the homeroom teachers will have bins set up for donations of unwanted items.

Field Day:

The 4th and 5th grade students will be participating in Field Day on Thursday, May 29 from 9:00-11:00 (weather permitting).  Students should dress comfortably with appropriate shoes (sandals/crocs are not recommended).  Face paint will not be permitted at school.  Also, be sure to apply sunscreen.  Thank you to Mrs. Musenbrock for organizing the Field Day events!

Celebrate the Year:

The end of the year is drawing near. To celebrate we are having the Sip & Scoot mobile cafe here in our south parking lot on Wednesday, May 28th. They will be selling drinks to staff and families from 7:00-8:30. They will have coffee, espressos, lemonade, and smoothies for sale.

If you would like to sponsor a teacher for $5, please pay Jenni in the office or Venmo Mrs. Emig at @Nikki-Emig. Your $5 will buy a teacher a drink of their choice to help celebrate an awesome school year. This is also a fantastic way to support local as the owner of the truck is a former Wesclin graduate!

Soccer Camp:

Students interested in a Soccer Camp from June 9-12, please stop by the office for a flyer.

Summer Robotics Camp:

The Wesclin High School Robotics Team is hosting two summer camps for students entering grades 1-6.  The camps are either the week of June 2–6 or July 21–25 at Wesclin Middle School. Please see the informational flyer and the registration form for more information.  They can also be picked up at the school offices.

Water Bottles and Snacks:

Students may bring a small snack to have after their 2nd Hour class each day.  2nd Hour ends at 9:43.  If your child would like to bring a water bottle, he/she may keep it in his/her locker until snack time.  WATER BOTTLES SHOULD CONTAIN WATER ONLY.  Please be sure to take the bottle home each night to be cleaned.  Snacks should be healthier snacks.  Candy will not be considered an acceptable snack.

Warrior Wednesdays:

Each Wednesday has been designated as “Warrior Wednesday.”  Be sure to show your school pride by wearing your Wesclin gear  (no hats, please!).  Students and their families are also encouraged to come out and support the various teams throughout the year.
