Hometown Hero:

Heroes can be found right in your backyard - and here’s your chance to honor them! We know there are many heroes out there who show up, pitch in and go the extra mile every day. To help your school recognize them, we invite you to submit a nomination for the 2026 SLDDC Homegrown Hero

award. This award honors hard-working people like farmers, who grow our food and help keep Americans strong and healthy. Just write a paragraph and/or submit a photo or video that explains why you are nominating them. Make sure to show or tell us how they make a difference in your community and why they should be named a 2026 Homegrown Hero.  Submit your entry to SLDDC by March 31, 2026 to: info@stldairycouncil.org If you need a print out of the information, please see Mrs. Emig.

Playground Equipment Donation:

As we start to hit our stride for the school year, it has been noted that some of the most popular sports equipment enjoyed at recess has seen better days! The WMS Support Committee is happy to support this cause, but before buying brand new we wanted to consider gently used donations. So, if you are looking to declutter and have any of the following lying around looking for a new home, please send in your sports equipment donations to the WMS office.
